KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Duhawks.com) - The Duhawks concluded their trip in Florida on Tuesday with a 6-5 loss in the 9th inning to Greenville University.
Cole Thompson led the Duhawks by going 2-for-3 with a homerun and two RBIs. Loras moves to 4-2 on the season.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• Greenville started early by jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a single with runners on second and third
• The Duhawks got on the board shortly after, as
Robbie Agerbeek singled to center field to score

• Greenville added another run in the bottom half of the 3rd inning on a sacrifice fly to take a 3-1 lead
• Loras took the lead in the 4th inning after Konagel drove in two runs on a triple to left-center, and a Thompson single to right field
• In the bottom of the 4th, Greenville launched a 2-run homer to regain the lead, 5-4
• It took until the 7th inning, for Thompson to tie the game by going deep to left field for a homerun
• The game was decided with two outs in the bottom of the 9th, when Greenville got a runner to second base, who was soon driven in following an error by Loras
