DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's lacrosse team recorded its first win of the season on Saturday, defeating Benedictine inside the Rock Bowl, 17-15. Clare Brunn and Olivia Flynn tag-teamed to lead the offense, with each scoring five goals.

• Adira Dangoy opened the scoring for the Duhawks, scoring at the 27:56 mark … The lead was short-lived as the Eagles equalized 10 seconds later
• Renata Veljacic and Olivia Flynn scored back-to-back goals at 22:52 and 22:32 to go in the first, tying the mat at 3-all
• Loras used the momentum to fuel a 3-0 run and take the lead, 6-3
