KENOSHA, WIS. (Duhawks.com) - The Loras Men's Volleyball team seven game win-streak was halted by Carthage on Saturday evening. The Reds swept the Duhawks 25-22, 25-22, and 26-24. Grant Ooms led the Duhawks with eighteen kills.Â
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• Loras struggled in the first set allowing Carthage to go on a 5-0 run early in the first set. The Duhawks managed to tie it at nine a piece.  Loras closed the gap and cut Carthage's lead to two, but the Reds finished the first set off 25-22.Â
• A close battle in the second set ended with seven lead changes as the Duhawks were able to cut the Reds lead to just one point. Carthage took the second set 25-22. Â
• Loras went on a 3-0 run to spark what had the makings of a winning set but their lead was cut short after a trio of attack errors propelled Carthage into the lead. Carthage went on secure the set 26-24.Â
