Duhawks Fall to Pipers

DUBUQUE, IOWA (Duhawks.com) - Loras hosted in-conference opponent Hamline on Monday, March 25. The Duhawks took 12 shots but only a few of them were able to hit the intended target. Loras fell to Hamline 19-4 in today's contest. 

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• Claire Brunn's goal to bring the score even at 1-1 after Hamline took the lead just 1:31 into the game. 
Hamline netted three more goals before Ranata Veljacic could score on the free position shot with 15:19 remaining in the first half. 
Olivia Flynn scored the third goal for Loras and cut Hamline's lead to just one. The Pipers closed the first half with a 11-3 lead over the Duhawks. 
• The final goal for Loras was scored by Jacqueline Condon with 9:29 remaining the in contest. The Pipers were leading 16-3 before Condon's goal and defeated the Duhawks 19-4.
