LINCOLN, Neb. – The Loras College football team earned a 41-38 double overtime victory at Nebraska Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon in Abel Stadium.

Mani Brown on an eight-yard touchdown to give Loras the walk-off victory, it's fourth-straight in Lincoln.
The win moves the Duhawks to 3-3 on the season, including a mark of 2-2 in conference play, which places the program fourth in the A-R-C standings.
England finished the day 30-of-41 passing for 308 yards and four touchdowns, giving the junior his second four passing touchdown game of the season. The Wheaton, Ill. native also picked up a season-high 63 yards on the ground on 18 attempts.

Mani Brown and
Michael Crawford each finished with 100 yard-plus days through the air, as the pair combined for 239 yards and four of the five receiving touchdowns on the day. With 128 yards, Brown now has four games of at least 100 yards receiving.
Johnnie Cason II rushed for a team-high 77 yards on 18 attempts, followed by
Jamel Britt with 47 yards and a score on the ground, with an additional score through the air.
Defensively,
Josh Rydberg led the way with 12 total tackles, with six coming solo. The Duhawk defense picked up seven tackles for loss, while
Jonah Clark and
Sean Doyle each recorded a sack.

Following a scoreless first quarter, Loras got on the board with a six play, 76-yard drive cumulating in Brown and England's first touchdown hookup of the day at 13:43 in the second quarter. Nebraska Wesleyan responded with two scores before the end of the half to lead 14-7 at the break.
After forcing a three-and-out to start the second half, the Duhawks tied things up with a nine-play, 52-yard drive that resulted in Crawford's first score of the day – a five-yard pass from England. After eight minutes of play, Loras regained the lead when the Duhawks got creative and had Brown uncork a 38-yard strike to Crawford to go up 21-14 with 2:33 to play in the third. The Prairie Wolves responded with a 72-yard touchdown on the following drive to come within one, as NWU's kicker failed on his extra-point attempt.
The Duhawks took an eight point lead at 10:07 in the fourth water when Britt scored from eight yards out, but a 40-yard touchdown pass from NWU's Cole Siems followed with a successful two-point attempt would tie things up with 8:03 to play in regulation.
Heading into the first overtime, Loras threw the first punch when England found Britt on a four-yard pass to go up 35-28. NWU's Trystin Myers scored on a one-yard rush to even things back up. NWU was first on offense to start the second overtime period and walked away with three points after stalling on Loras' three-yard line. The Duhawks took advantage of the opportunity, as England found Crawford for a 17-yard strike on first down to move Loras to the NWU eight yard line before finding Brown for the game-winning score.
