DECORAH, Iowa – The Loras College Duhawk men's wrestling team started their season at the highly-competitive Luther open on Saturday, a meet that featured five hundred-plus wrestlers. The Duhawks saw eight wrestlers place at the tournament, which features an Elite and Silver bracket at each weight class.

Wiley Jessup placed 8
th – posted a record of 4-2 record with two falls.

Nosa Egbon placed 5
th. He was 5-1 with one major decision. He fell in the quarterfinals to Nico Diaz of Stevens Institute of Technology (7-2), who is the 10
th ranked wrestler in the NCAA Division III.

Dustin Bohren placed 7
th with a record of 4-2 with one major decision.

Carter Anderson took 6
th place after going 4-2 with two falls and two tech falls.
