CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Loras College women's volleyball team ended its 2023 campaign in the first round of the A-R-C Tournament, falling to Coe College, 0-3, inside Kohawk Arena on Tuesday night.
The Duhawks fell in straight sets to the No.3-seeded Kohawks by scores of 18-25, 24-26 and 16-25.
Autumn Finch led the Loras (13-17 overall, 3-5 A-R-C) offense with nine kills.
Sophie Younkin followed closely behind with eight kills and 15 digs, while
Cat Meyer contributed seven kills and three service aces.
Sara Hoskins dished out 29 assists as well in the loss.
Coe (19-11, 6-2) was led by Maggie Furlong who put down 11 kills, while Madi Parson and Grace Lueken tallied 10 kills apiece. Parson also added a team-high 15 digs and a game-high five service aces to her stat line. Maddy Maahs totaled 37 assists for the Kohawks in the win.
The Duhawks improved their overall record and conference mark from last season, earning five more total wins and one more A-R-C win.
