Duhawks Head to Lakeland University on Monday

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Loras College Duhawks look to extend the program's five game win streak on Monday when the Purple and Gold head over to Sheboygan, Wis. to take on the Lakeland University Muskies. Tip is set for 5 p.m. inside the Woltzen Gymnasium.

LAST TIME OUT
The Duhawks are coming off a 100-75 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Stout last Tuesday night. Jack Haynes and Ali Sabet combined to score 50 points, with Haynes dropping a career-high 26 points in the win. Sabet, meanwhile, did most of his work in the second half, as the seasoned guard scored 22 of his 24 points in the second frame alone. The Glenview, Ill. native knocked down five second half threes, finishing the day 8-for-15 from the field with five rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block.

Tyler Bass has put together back-to-back strong double-doubles, this time finishing with 19 points and a team-high 15 rebounds in 35 minutes of action. The junior was 6-for-11 from the field, in addition to going a near-perfect 6-for-7 from the free throw line. Jackson Molstead rounded out Loras' double digit scorers, as the guard put on a clinic with 19 points and 11 assists – the most by any Duhawk this season.

ABOUT THE DUHAWKS
Loras averages the third-most points per game in the nation at a clip of 96.1, while connecting on 15.5 threes per game – a mark that's second-best in the NCAA. Loras has made 88.5 percent of its free throws this year, which is the percentage in the nation. Limiting its opponents to 72.2 points per game, the program's 23.9 score margin is the fourth-best in all of NCAA Division III.

Sabet leads the team in scoring at 20.1 points per game, followed by Molstead at 15.1, Bass at 12.5, Haynes at 11.8, and Jared Pearson at 10.7. Bass leads the team in rebounding with 6.4 per game, followed by Myles Barry at 5.9 and Haynes at 5.5.

SCOUTING THE MUSKIES
Lakeland enters Monday's game 4-5 overall, with its last game against Ripon College on Saturday resulting in an 87-79 loss. Junior guard Cam Jaeger averages a team-high 21.9 points per game, followed by sophomore Asanjai Hunter at 15.1. 6-4 junior guard Isaiah Hammond leads the Muskies in rebounding at 8.6 per game, followed by Jaeger at 5.4.

THE SERIES
The two programs are facing off for the first time in 47 years, as the last time the two played each other was on Jan. 28, 1976, when Loras downed the Muskies 88-75 in Dubuque. The Duhawks own the all time series record at 4-3
