DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Loras College women's soccer team put itself back in the win column with a dominant 5-0 victory over Millikin University on Sunday afternoon.
Bella Talbot found the back of the net off a pass from
Savannah Johnson to give the Duhawks a 1-0 lead just 2:18 into the contest.
Kaighin Frost netted her first goal of the season at the 10:33 mark and just over five minutes later, Talbot tallied her second goal to put Loras (5-1 overall) ahead 3-0 at the half.
Savannah Johnson found the back of the net off a pass from
Reagan Lindsay at the 58:34 mark, while
Erin Rankin scored the final goal of the contest to secure the 5-0 win for the Duhawks.
Loras shot the ball 26 times and put 10 of them on frame, while Millikin (3-3 overall) recorded just two shots and only put one of them on target.
Kyndal Kells collected one save to earn the win in goal for Loras.
