CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Loras College senior forward Reed Miklavcic has been named this week's American Rivers Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for his performances against the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater on Sept. 20, Buena Vista University on Sept. 23, and Dominican University (IL) on Sept. 24.

The distinction is the third such honor in Miklavcic's career with the Purple and Gold and the first he's won since Nov. 8, 2021. Over the last week, Miklavcic has recorded three goals and four assists on eight shots with six coming on goal.

The Duhawks went 2-0-1 over its last week of competition with wins coming against Buena Vista (6-0) and Dominican (2-0). The draw with UW-Whitewater was the result of a second-half comeback that saw Loras score two goals in the final 25 minutes, with one coming off an assist by Miklavcic.

The Frankfort, Ky., native now has 22 career goals, placing him one shy of cracking the program's top-10 list.

Loras will hit the road and return to action this Saturday night at 8 p.m. for a match against Nebraska Wesleyan University.
