CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Two members of the Loras College women's tennis team were named to the All-American Rivers Conference Team as released by the conference on Thursday afternoon.
Sophomore
Mary Breitbach garnered the accolade in both singles and doubles. She finished her second season at No. 1 singles with a 9-6 overall record and 6-6 record in conference play. The Peoria, Ill. native was also recognized for her accomplishments in doubles play. Breitbach went 7-7 overall and 6-3 in the A-R-C.
Senior
Dorothy Deans earned Honorable Mention recognition after posting a 9-9 record overall at No. 2 singles and 6-6 record in conference matches.
The Purple and Gold open their spring season on Feb. 23 against Carroll University and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
