PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The Loras College women's volleyball team fell, 3-0, to the No. 19 University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers on Wednesday night inside Williams Fieldhouse.
The Duhawks fell in consecutive sets to UW-Platteville (18-3 overall, 2-1 WIAC) by scores of 25-12, 25-16 and 25-19.
Leading the way for Loras (9-10 overall, 0-1 A-R-C) was
Patrycja Jarzabek who put down eight kills.
Cat Meyer followed closely behind with five kills of her own, while
Sara Hoskins dished out 21 assists on the night.
Lucie Lambe totaled nine digs and added the sole service ace of the contest to her stat line. As a team, the Duhawks hit .113, finishing with 25 kills and 14 errors in 97 attempts.
Up Next: The Duhawks return to Lillis Court for the first time since Sept. 14 for a five-game homestand. The Purple and Gold are set to face off against Simpson College on Friday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m.
