one DUBUQUE, Iowa – Two games separate the Loras College Duhawks and the start of the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Tournament. The first of the final two games on the docket is a trip to Decorah, Iowa to face the Luther College Norse on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m. inside of the Regents Center.

Ali Sabet scored 33 points to lead all scorers, while
Declan Ciurlik had 12, as Loras College fell 79-70 to Simpson College on Saturday afternoon.
The Duhawks shot a season-low 30.3 percent (23-of-76) from the field and 23.3 percent (10-for-43) from three-point territory.
Sabet finished the game shooting 11-of-21 (52.3 percent) from the field, while going 7-for-8 (87.5 percent) from the free throw line. Ciurlik registered a career-high six steals in 32 minutes of action.
Tyler Bass posted a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds, tying the junior forward's career-best.
The Storm did almost all of its work inside the arc, shooting 51.2 percent (22-of-43) from the field, compared to 25 percent (5-of-20) from three. Jack Hutchison led the way with 22 points off the bench, followed by Andrew Gibb at 18.
ABOUT THE DUHAWKS
Loras enters the final leg of the regular season fourth in the A-R-C standings with a 19-4 record, including a mark of 10-4 in conference play. The Duhawks average 86.7 points per game, good for first in the conference and 11
th in the nation. The Purple and Gold make the fourth-most three pointers per game in the country at 12.3, while averaging the fifth-most attempts at 32.7.
Sabet leads the way in scoring at 19.7 points per game, followed by Bass at 12.3,
Jackson Molstead at 12.2, and
Jack Haynes at 12. Bass pulls in a team-high 7.3 rebounds per game, followed by Haynes at 6.1. Molstead leads the program in assists at 3.9 per game, while Sabet's mark of 93.2 percent from the free throw line is good for second among NCAA Division III players. Haynes has been remarkable from the field this year, converting on 66.5 percent of his shots, which is the third-best mark int the country.
SCOUTING THE NORSE
Luther enters Wednesday's bout second-to-last in the conference standings with an overall record of 7-16, and an A-R-C mark of 2-12. The Norse average 63.5 points per game, while surrendering 70.3 points to their opponents. One area the team excels is the offensive glass, where the Norse average 10.33 offensive rebounds per game – a mark that stands as the second-most in the American Rivers.
Senior guard Daniel Webster averages a team-high 9.7 points per game, followed by senior center Ben Gill at 9.2. Senior forward Mikkel Schutte leads the Norse in rebounding with 5.8 per game, followed by Gill at 5.1. Webster and junior guard Aidan Bailey are Luther's two threats from the perimeter, as the pair have combined to make almost half of the Norse's three point makes this season.
