WAVERLY, Iowa – The Loras College men's tennis team fell, 8-1, to American Rivers Conference foe, Wartburg College, on Wednesday afternoon inside the Hoover Fieldhouse.
Sean Gelski provided the sole point for the Duhawks in the match, taking down Elijah Swanstrom 3-6, 6-0 and 6-2 in the tiebreaker at No. 3 singles.
Gage Becker and
Thomas Kampmier also forced tiebreakers in their respective matches but were unable to secure the win in the end.
