APPLETON, Wis. – The Loras College women's soccer team kept the momentum going with another 2-0 shutout win over Lawrence University on Tuesday evening at the Banta Bowl.
The score was even until the 33
rd minute when
Savannah Johnson slotted home her fifth goal of the season off an assist from
Lauren Riggle and
Belle Johnson.
The Duhawks (6-0-0) generated many chances on goal, totaling 14 shots, eight of which were on frame compared to Lawrence's (3-3-1) four total shots, two of which were on target.
The Purple and Gold extended their lead to 2-0 in the 80
th minute by way of Johnson, who netted her second goal of the night off an assist from
Reagan Lindsay.
Kyndal Kells remains perfect, as she made two saves on the night, earning the 38
th shutout of her career.
