DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Loras College women's soccer team earned its seventh win of the season, following a 1-0 victory over Carroll University on Saturday evening at the Rock Bowl.
The score was even at 0-0 for most of the match, until freshman defender,
Bella Scesniak, netted her first career goal off an assist from
Reagan Lindsay at the 75:46-minute mark.
Loras (7-0-0) outshot Carroll (1-4-2) 18-4, putting four of those shots on target compared to the Pioneers' one shot on frame.
The Purple and Gold controlled the offense as they recorded 11 corner kicks to Carroll's two.
Kyndal Kells faced one shot on goal earned en route to yet another shutout.
