DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Loras College women's soccer team handed Carleton College its first loss of the season with a 1-0 victory on Monday evening inside the Rock Bowl.
The match was scoreless until three minutes into the second half when
Savannah Johnson slotted one home for her seventh goal of season off assists from
Emerson Gasmann and
Athena Sheets.
Loras (8-0-0) outshot the Knights 14 to four, eight of which were on target compared to two shots on goal by Carleton (7-1-1).
Kyndal Kells tallied a pair of saves en route to another clean sheet for her and the Duhawk defense.
