DUBUQUE, Iowa – Loras College men's wrestling head coach
Jeren Glosser has added Devin Bahr to his staff for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
"Devin was an excellent candidate for this position and I'm very excited to see him grow as a coach in our program," said Glosser. "He brings a wealth of wrestling knowledge to our Duhawk wrestling team and we are very thankful to have him!"
Bahr earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Rehab Psychology & Special Education. As an undergraduate, he was also a member of the Badgers wrestling team
where he held a record of 44-22. Off the mat, Bahr was a 2021 Big Ten Conference Distinguished Scholar and a 2021 Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
Following his graduation from Wisconsin, Bahr attended Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D. where he earned his master's degree in Sports Leadership and Performance. He was a member of the Wolves wrestling team for two seasons and earned NCAA DII All-American status in 2024 after finishing in fifth place at the national meet.
Bahr began his coaching career at Northern State as a Graduate Assistant Coach. Some of his responsibilities included planning/running team practices, organizing trips, and overseeing fundraising activities. He also managed Northern State's wrestling social media accounts.
"I feel like I have a lot to give back to the sport of wrestling and I am grateful to be able to do it at Loras which has such a rich wrestling community and culture," said Bahr.
A native of La Crosse, Wis., Devin currently resides in Dubuque.
