MADISON, Wis. – The Loras College women's volleyball team split a pair of matches at the Edgewood College Triangular on Saturday afternoon inside the Todd Wehr Edgedome.
The Purple and Gold lost to the host in straight sets in their opening match, before bouncing back with a 3-1 victory over the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

- The Purple and Gold broke the final tie of the opening set with back-to-back kills from Cat Meyer to take a 9-7 lead. The Duhawks extended their advantage to as many as four multiple times throughout the set, grabbing the 25-20 win thanks to a pair of kills from Kyra Kuehn to close out the set.
- The Eagles outlasted Loras in the second set by a score of 32-30.
- In set three, the Duhawks used a 7-1 run to erase a five-point UW-La Crosse lead (14-13). Loras finished the set out strong, breaking a 21-21 tie with a 4-1 run to take the set 25-22.
- The Purple and Gold controlled the fourth set, posting a four-point run as well as a seven-point run that allowed the Duhawks to lead by as many as nine points (12-3). Loras led for the remainder of the set, weathering a comeback attempt from the Eagles that put them within one (21-20). The Duhawks took the fourth set, 25-21, to win the match and snap their four-game losing streak.
