GALENA, Ill. – The Loras women's golf team wrapped up their final tournament before the American Rivers Conference Championship at the two-day Clarke Fall Invite at Eagle Ridge South Course. The Duhawks finished third in the five-team field.
On day one,
Ellen Pechan led the Loras lineup shooting an 88 (+16).
Elish Flynn fired a round of 92 (+20) while
Julia Busch was +22 after day one.
Autumn Allen finished with a 102 (+30) after round one and
Caera Owens shot 107 on the opening day. Playing as individuals,
Kathleen Looney and
Courtney Herbert fired rounds of 109 and 121, respectively.
Pechan continued to pace the Duhawks on day two with a 91 (+19) to finish in 10
th place. Busch finished in 13
th place after her 92 on day two. Allen finished the tournament in 21
st after her round of 99 while Flynn shot a 101 to finish in 18
th. Owens rounded out the Purple and Gold lineup with a 24
th place finish.
Looney fired a 110 on day two to finish in 26
th, while Herbert finished in 30
th.
Up Next: Loras will travel to Long Grove, Iowa to compete in the American Rivers Conference Championship on Oct. 11-13. Tee times from Glynns Creek are set to begin at 10 AM all three days.
