INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Loras College men's cross country team earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III National Championships in Spartanburg, S.C., marking its fifth consecutive appearance on the national stage.
The Duhawks placed fourth at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional Championships last weekend, hosted by Wartburg College. Isaac Bourne led the way with a third-place finish in 24:15.0 to earn All-Region honors. Eric Rutherford followed in 12th with a time of 24:40.2, also securing All-Region recognition.
Ryan McGrath and Jack Beehler claimed the team's final All-Region awards, placing 31st and 32nd with times of 25:24.5 and 25:26.8, respectively. Logan Hoger finished 53rd in 26:19.9, while Aiden Ruiz crossed in 62nd at 26:30.2. Colby Cryer rounded out the lineup, placing 88th in 26:56.6.
Head coach Ethan Adlfinger praised the squad's performance and believes the group is progressing steadily toward its best form for nationals.
The 2025 NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championships are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 23, in Spartanburg, S.C., with the men's race set for 9 a.m.
