DUBUQUE, Iowa — The Loras College women's soccer team earned a 1–0 win over Simpson College on Wednesday night at the Rock Bowl to advance to the American Rivers Conference Tournament Championship.

Ivy Wessel netted the lone goal in the 11th minute, scoring off a corner kick from Mayte Navejas for her fourth of the season. The Duhawks controlled play throughout, outshooting Simpson 21–9 with an 8–4 edge in shots on goal.

Goalkeeper Hannah Fedinec tallied four saves to secure her 15th shutout of the year as Loras (14-1-2, 6-1-1 A-R-C) held strong defensively.

With the victory, the Duhawks advance to the A-R-C Championship, where they'll face the University of Dubuque Spartans in a rematch on Saturday, Nov. 8. Kickoff time will be announced at a later date.
