DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Loras College women's volleyball team fell 3-0 to the No. 20 University of Dubuque Spartans Wednesday night in its final home match.
The Purple and Gold came up short in all three sets, falling 25-21 in set one, 25-22 in set two, and 25-19 in set three.
Loras (6-19 overall, 2-6 A-R-C) hit a collective .108 on the night with 34 kills and 19 errors in its 141 attempts.
Cat Meyer led the Duhawks in points after putting down 13 kills.
Autumn Finch provided eight kills of her own and tallied three blocks with two service aces.
Alyssa Daughenbaugh handed out 14 assists, while
Emily Mohr dished out 13 of her own.
Lucie Lambe led the defense with 20 digs.
Up Next: The Duhawks travel to Rock Island, Ill. to wrap up their season with a triangular against Augustana College and Grinnell College. Game times are set for 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
