CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – For the first time this season, Claire Wagner has been awarded American Rivers Conference Athlete of the Week honors as announced by the league office on Monday.

Wagner is earning the award for the first time in her career following her performance in a 63-60 win over No. 18-ranked Wisconsin Lutheran College last Tuesday.

The Westchester, Ill. native scored a team-high 17 points, shooting an efficient 53 percent (8-of-15) from the floor, while grabbing four rebounds in the win. She also came away with three steals for the Duhawks.

The Duhawks are back in action on Wednesday, Dec. 3 as they open A-R-C play against the University of Dubuque. Tip-off from the Stoltz Sports Center is set for 5:30 p.m.
