Nine Duhawks Named to NFF Hampshire Honor Society

April 23, 2025

IRVING, Texas – Nine student-athletes from the Loras College football team were honored as members of the 2025 NFF Hampshire Honor Society as released by the National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame last week.

Kaden Carnes, Eli Denton, Max Golembiewski, Andrew Hefel, Jakob Lenzmeier, Michael Mixan, Cade O'Hehir, Tyson Smith and Scott Talmadge represented Loras as nine of the 2,529 players from 340 schools that met membership criteria this year. This is the largest class the program has seen since it was founded in 2006.

69 student-athletes across five other American Rivers Conference schools joined the nine Duhawks, with Wartburg College leading the way with 24 members.

The NFF Hampshire Honor Society is comprised of college football players from all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA, and sprint football who maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers.

Nominated by their respective schools, members of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society must be either a senior player who will graduate this spring or summer and just completed his final year of playing eligibility in 2024 or be a graduated player, who has already earned a bachelor's degree and competed in the 2024 season. A member must have also met or exceeded the required 3.2 cumulative GPA and have  been a contributor during the 2024 season.
