CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Loras College women's tennis team saw its 2024-25 season come to a close Thursday afternoon, falling 4-0 to second-seeded Coe College in the American Rivers Conference Tournament semifinals at the Clark Racquet Center.
In doubles play,
Caroline Hutchinson and
Alexis Tatum put up a fight at No. 3 but came up just short in a tight 7-6 loss to Cosette Gaines and Maddie Schultz. Coe secured a win at No. 2 doubles to clinch the opening point, while the No. 1 doubles match went unfinished.
Trailing 1-0 heading into singles, the Duhawks were unable to rally as the Kohawks claimed victories in three singles matches to clinch the team win and advance to the tournament final.
