2025 Women's Golf Season Preview

August 29, 2025

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Loras College women's golf team is set to begin its fall season in Cedar Falls, Iowa as they compete in the Kohawk Classic at Pheasant Ridge Golf Club, hosted by Coe College.

Head coach Will Arndt is looking for his team to build off last year's spring season that ended in a second-place finish at the Storm Spring Classic.

"We are hoping to have a fall season that continues to build upon the work we have been doing," said Arndt. "We have an exciting group of first years and returners!"

One returner for the Duhawks is senior Jenna Bistline. Bistline returns after an eighth-place finish at the conference tournament after rounds of 84, 80, and 79. She also earned a T-5th finish at the Buena Vista Invite and a fourth-place finish at the Dechert Classic. She finished last season with an 82.7 scoring average.

Julia Busch will also be another key contributor to the Loras lineup. During her freshman campaign she garnered top 10 finishes at the Loras Invite and Storm Spring Classic, and an eighth-place finish at the conference tournament.

After the Kohawk Classic, the Purple and Gold will take a trip to Milwaukee, Wis. before returning to its home course to host the Loras Invite on Sept. 14-15.
