CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Loras College women's golf team opened its season with an eighth-place finish at the Kohawk Classic hosted by Coe College over the weekend.
 
Jenna Bistline paced the Duhawks with back-to-back rounds of 76 (+4) to finish in a tie for eighth place for her first top 10 finish of the season. Julia Busch finished in a tie for 25^th, posting an opening round score of 81 (+9), followed by an 82 (+10) on day two to finish +19 overall.

Ellen Pechan posted a two-day total of 175, with rounds of 90 (+18) and 85 (+13), which placed her in a tie for 51^st. Elish Flynn finished in 57^th place with rounds of 96 (+24) and 83 (+11) to round out the Loras lineup.

Caera Owens finished her first collegiate event with a two-day total of 198, while Autumn Allen, playing as an individual, posted a two-day total of 204.

Up Next: Loras will take a trip to Milwaukee, Wis. to play in the Wisconsin Lutheran College Invitational on Friday, Sept. 6, before playing in the MSOE Invite on Saturday, Sept. 7.
