WAVERLY, Iowa – The Loras College men's and women's golf teams finished the Buena Vista Invite over the weekend. The men took home seventh place, while the women finished in fourth place.

On the men's side, Quinn Walsh finished in a tie for 16^th after rounds of 76 and 80, to finish +12 for the tournament. Alex Link and Will Coohey finished T27 for the tournament. Link fired back-to-back rounds of 80 (+8), while Coohey fired an opening round of 78 (+6), followed by an 82 (+10) on Sunday. Wyatt Herting finished in a tie for 42^nd, while Silas Schultz finished in 45^th place.

Julia Busch and Jenna Bistline paced the Duhawks on the women's side. Busch shot an opening round 75 (+3), followed by 89 (+17) on day two to finish in sixth place. Bistline fired rounds of 85 (+13) and 81 (+9) to finish in seventh place. Elish Flynn finished T14 at +27 for the tournament, while Ellen Pechan placed T22. Caera Owens finished the tournament in 42^nd, finishing +42.

Up Next: The men will tee it up next at the Wartburg Fall Invite on Sept. 27 and 28. The women return to the course on Sept. 29 and 30 as they compete in the Clarke Fall Classic at Eagle Ridge Resort.
