MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Loras College women's golf team finished their two-day trip to Wisconsin with a second-place finish at the Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational, followed by a fourth-place finish at the MSOE Invite.
At the Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational,
Jenna Bistline paced the Duhawks with a second-place finish, shooting a +10 round of 82.
Julia Busch finished with an 88 (+16) which was good for a T7 finish. Finishing in a tie for 10
th was
Elish Flynn after a round of 90 (+18). Rounding out the Loras lineup was
Ellen Pechan and
Caera Owens who fired rounds of 98 (+26) and 104 (+32), respectively.
Dretzka Park Golf Course proved to be a tough test for Purple and Gold, resulting in a 4
th place finish. Busch led the Duhawks with a T4 finish after s round of 84 (+12) effort. Pechan found herself in the top 10 after firing an 86 (+14) good enough for. T8 finish. Flynn shot a round of 90 (+18) while Bistline shot a 91 (+19) to finish the roadtrip.
Up Next: Loras will take eight days off from competition before they host the Loras Invite at The Meadows Golf Club on Sept. 14 and 15.
