DUBUQUE, Iowa – Former Loras men's soccer standout Dan Figura will be inducted into the Loras College Athletics Hall of Fame as a part of the Class of 2026. He will be honored alongside four other inductees during the ceremony on Friday, Oct. 9 inside the Alumni Campus Center ballroom.
"I am incredibly honored to be inducted into the Loras College Hall of Fame." Figura said. "The Loras soccer program exceeded every expectation I had going into college and gave me some of the best experiences and friendships of my life. I'm incredibly grateful to have been part of such a special program."
The two-time All-American played in 76 games for the Purple and Gold, including two Final Fours, and tallied six goals and four assists as a defender. The former team captain capped off his playing career with a Division III National Defender of the Year award, as well as an Iowa Conference Defensive Most Valuable Player award.
Following his career at Loras, Figura took his talents to the professional level, playing in Australia for Mitchelton FC in 2015, and in the North American Soccer League (NASL) in 2016.
Currently, Figura resides in Madison, Wis. with his wife, Kaitlyn, and their three kids, Seb, Luisa, and Iris. He has spent the last 10 years working in medical device sales, most recently serving as a senior sales representative for Medtronic.
