DECORAH, Iowa — The Loras College men's track and field team finished fourth at the American Rivers Conference Indoor Championships, hosted by Luther College.
The Duhawks totaled 103.5 points and earned All-Conference honors in seven events, including six individual performances and one relay team.
Isaac Bourne led the Purple and Gold, winning the 5,000 meters in 14:28.70 to earn All-Conference honors. He also finished third in the 3,000 meters with a personal-best time of 8:18.00, breaking the school record.
The 4x400-meter relay team of
Ian Fagan,
Zeke Irving,
Casey Tath and
Matt Kruse finished second with a season-best time of 3:18.94.
Ian Lucas added a runner-up finish in the pole vault, clearing a personal-best 4.25 meters to earn All-Conference honors.
DreAnthony Jackson placed third in the weight throw with a mark of 17.70 meters to receive All-Conference recognition.
Tre'jon Igess earned All-Conference honors in his Duhawk debut with a leap of 14.25 meters in the triple jump.
Zeke Irving rounded out the All-Conference performances with a time of 49.88 in the 400 meters.
Up Next: The Duhawks travel to Waverly, Iowa to compete at the Wartburg Qualifier on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7.
