NAPERVILLE, Illinois - Five members of the Loras College men's volleyball program were awarded All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin accolades on Tuesday morning.

Roman Rothermel and Bo Brainerd III were tabbed First Team All-Conference.

Rothermel is now a two-time CCIW All-Conference selection after being named Second-Team All-Conference in the 2025 season. The Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin native ranks second in the CCIW in hitting percentage with .433, eighth in blocks per set with 0.71, eighth in kills per set with 2.84, and seventh in points per set with 3.42. Rothermel was also named CCIW Defensive Player of the Week on January 19^th, 2026. Brainerd III, a native of Delafield, Wisconsin, earns his first CCIW All-Conference selection. He ranks first in the CCIW in hitting percentage with .434, fifth in blocks per set with 0.78, seventh in kills per set with 2.96, and sixth in points per set with 3.62. Brainerd III was recently named CCIW Hitter of the Week on April 6^th, 2026, and AVCA Division III National Player of the Week.

2025 CCIW Rookie of the Year Evan Dziadkowiec and Brady Oberfoell were named Second Team All-Conference.

Dziadkowiec, a Lockport, Illinois native followed up his impressive freshman season with a 2026 campaign that saw him rank tenth in Division III men's volleyball in assists per set with 9.89. He also finished in the top-10 in the CCIW in service aces per set with 0.24 and digs per set with 2.04. He also garnered CCIW Setter of the Week recognition twice throughout the season. Oberfoell, a Pewaukee, Wisconsin native, earned his first CCIW All-Conference honor after a junior season that featured a CCIW Defensive Player of the Week honor after the Duhawks took down then No. 1 Carthage College. Oberfoell ranked fifth in the CCIW in digs per set with 2.41 and leads the team with 248 total digs on the year.

Each CCIW school selects a RESPECT Award recipient that has distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. Team manager Joe Garrett was the Loras recipient of the RESPECT award.
