Loras Women's Volleyball Adds Zellers to Coaching Staff

July 30, 2026

DUBUQUE, Iowa – Loras College women's volleyball head coach Kristy Duncan has announced the addition of Anna Zellers to her coaching staff.

"We are thrilled to welcome Anna to Loras as our full-time assistant," Duncan said. "Her knowledge of the sport, work ethic, and her enthusiasm makes her an excellent fit for our program. We are so excited to get her in the gym with our team!"

Zellers comes to Loras after a successful four-year career at Trine University.

"I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to join the Loras women's volleyball staff," said Zellers. "Transitioning from being a student-athlete to coaching at the collegiate level is a dream of mine that I have been working towards for a while. Volleyball has been a defining part of my life, and I'm passionate about using the game to mentor student-athletes and build meaningful relationships. I'm excited to learn from Coach Duncan and contribute to the success and tradition of Loras volleyball."

A three-year team captain for the Thunder, Zellers was also a two-time All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) second team honoree, as well as a two-time MIAA Player of the Week selection. She currently sits sixth all-time at Trine in assists with 1,494 and ranks fifth all-time in assists per set at 5.25.

Off the court, Zellers was a two-time College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honoree, a Chi Alpha Sigma Honors Society inductee, and served on the Trine Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC). She also spent time as a Team Pineapple Volleyball Club coach, most recently coaching the 15 Black team.

A native of Greencastle, Ind., Zellers earned her degree in Elementary Education and Special Education with a minor in Sports Management.
