Jacob Oswald

After seven seasons as an assistant coach at Wartburg, Oswald spent one season as as a Player Development Intern for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association before transitioning back to the Division III as a member of Chris Martin’s staff prior to the 2016-17 season.

Oswald graduated from Wartburg College in 2010 with a degree in fitness management. While at Wartburg, Oswald spent two years as a student assistant coach before transitioning into a full-time role following graduation. In 2014, Oswald completed his master’s degree at Ohio University in coaching education.

Under Martin, Oswald’s primary responsibilities include player development and opponent scouting.

A native of Monticello, Iowa, Oswald and his wife Kendra, and their two daughters, Hailey and Emma, reside in Dubuque.
