Biography

Why Loras:  "The Loras Community makes you feel at home and is a fun environment to be involved in on a daily basis. The relationship I have developed with the coaches are second to none. Friendships have been created that will last a lifetime. Also, the Sport Management program was key for me. They are nationally recognized and that is continuing to grow."

What it means to be a Duhawk:  "Being engaged and involved in a wonderful community that truly cares about the well-being of students and student-athletes. Being a Duhawk also means putting on the purple and gold with pride each and every time we take the court. There's a reason why there is only one Duhawk. It truly has a special meaning to people that you just do not understand unless you experience it first-hand."

Favorite memory at Loras:  "My favorite memory has to be hitting the game-winning shot at UD. Seeing the excitement on the faces of our fans and my teammates is something I will never forget. I am just thankful and blessed that I was put into that position and delivered when it mattered most."

2014-2015: Smith appeared in 17 games for the Duhawks averaging 30.7 minutes and a career-high 14.6 points per game … Upped his rebounding averages to 4.9 boards per game while still dishing out 2.6 assists … As a senior Smith shot a career high 47.8 percent from the floor and 36.8 percent from deep

2013-2014:  Played in 25 games and finished 23rd in the nation with a 2.59 assist-to-turnover ratio … Smith also averaged a career high 11.6 points per game while dishing out another career high 3.4 assists.

2012-2013:  Played in 25 games and averaged 10.4 points per game … Shot a career high 39 percent from the 3-point line and made 33 shots from behind the arc

2011-2012:  Played in 25 games and averaged 3 points a game while grabbing 3 rebounds.
