Jon Denham

    Assistant Men's & Women's Soccer Coach
A four-year player and captain, Jon Denham joined the Loras College soccer program as a freshman in the fall of 1998 as a member of current head coach Dan Rothert's inaugural recruiting class.

At the conclusion of his career, Denham joined the coaching staff as a graduate assistant while earning his master's degree from Loras College in administration of athletics. He serves as the men's and women's goalkeeper coach, overseeing the careers of multiple All-Conference and All-Region keepers.

 
Denham continued as a part-time member of the coaching staff in the mid-2000's before returning full time to the Department of Athletics as Sports Information Director in 2007. From 2007-2014, he served in that role, where he launched the original version of Duhawks.com, began live video streaming, and introduced many teams to the social media landscape.  Throughout those years, Denham contributed as a part-time coach and served as the team's play-by-play announcer.
 
Denham left his role as Sports Information Director as the 2014 calendar year began to become the Campus Apparel Specialist at Envision Sports Designs in Dubuque. He continues to train the goalkeepers for both the men's and women's teams.

The Forest Park, Illinois native holds two certifications from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, a National Diploma and the Goalkeeping Level 3 Diploma.

Denham and his wife, Sandy, live in Dubuque with their son, Matthew.
