Chris Omiecinski joins head coach Dylan Ross’ staff for his second season as the Loras College men's volleyball team's defensive coordinator.
Omiecinski wrapped up his career as a player in 2019 after injury made him hang up the Libero jersey and transition to student-assistant roles. In that role he found great success carrying over his experience as an upper-classman on a young team, helping navigate the COVID-19 pandemic and a coaching change while achieving success in the classroom, being named to the CCIW All-Academic Team twice in his career.
A native of Oak Lawn, Ill., Omiecinski graduated from Loras College 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Education and is currently pursuing a master's degree in School Counseling.
