Lynn Heitkamp joins the Loras Softball Coaching Staff in 2015 for her first season. Her responsibilities will include working with the outfielders and slap-hitters.
A graduate of Wartburg College, Heitkamp was a four-year player for the Knights, earning three All-Academic All-Conference honors and was named a 2010 CoSida/ESPN The Magazine 1st Team Academic All-District selection.
Heitkamp earned her Bachelor's of Arts degree in English with a certification in secondary education. Since graduation, Heitkamp has taught at Wapello High School in Wapello, Iowa. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Heitkamp has coached softball, volleyball and basketball in the junior high and high school ranks.
A native of Wapello, Iowa, Heitkamp now resides in Dubuque and works at Drexler Middle School in Farley.
