Acompanado added to her illustrious track and field career with her second IIAC Performer of the Week nod. She was also selected as the Athlete of the Week after breaking the school record in the long jump at the Cornell Invitational last Saturday. Her jump of 5.79m ranks fifth in Division III and broke the school record by .05m. In addition to the long jump title, Acompanado also staked claim to the top of the podium in the triple jump with her mark of 11.23m. She currently ranks 14th in Division III in the triple jump with her personal best this season of 11.42m.
