Freshman Mac Faldet was named Champpion of the Week by the Loras Athletic Communications Office on Tuesday, Jan. 26. The honor comes after Faldet won two events at the Grinnell Invitational and broke a school record in the 100 Breaststroke.

In addition to his record-breaking performance, Faldet added a second win to his name in the 100 Individual Medley with his season-best time of 54.21. In the 100 Backstroke, Faldet clocked in at 56.72, finishing 11th. The South Winneshiek, Iowa native was also a part of four of Loras' relay teams that finished in a range from fourth to ninth place.
