WAVERLY, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's tennis program saw their regular season come to an end Tuesday night, falling 9-0 to Wartburg. 

 

From the opening serve, Wartburg controlled much of the match, sweeping doubles play 8-2, 8-1, 8-1. Singles play brought much of the same as Loras was held in check in all six matches.

 

After dropping her first set 6-1, freshman Emma Cook dug deep and battled at No. 2 singles, but eventually fell, 6-3.

Loras will compete at the Iowa Conference tournament this Friday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
