Kyler Olson ripped off a pair of second half goals and senior
Alex Bradley added an insurance tally in the 66th minute. Bradley had the helper on Olson's second for his fourth assist in the last two matches.
FIRST HALFÂ
- Loras put the pressure on early it paid off with a corner in the fourth minute that the Duhawks were unable to convert on.Â
- Elmhurst's Austin Larsen had the ball on the near side of the field and fired a shot towards the back post. Fortunately for Loras, senior Jacob Peterson managed to get enough of a hand on it to push it up and over the crossbar.Â
- A failed clearance in the 26th minute fell to the feet of senior Alex Bradley, who took the ball up the middle of the field. Once he was in striking distance, he delivered a hard shot to the top corner that Bluejays' goalkeeper Nick King had no choice but to parry the ball away from goal.
SECOND HALFÂ
- The Duhawks opened the scoring with senior Kyler Olson's fifth goal of the season. Olson took the pass from senior Jonah Jacke and turned his defender as he worked towards the center of the pitch. Once a shooting lane opened, Olson ripped his shot, beating King to the near-post.
- Minutes later, Bradley maintained possession near the top of the box and forced a diving save with his shot. King was unable to hold on to the ball as the rebound bounced free and to the feet of Olson who tapped home the empty-net goal.
- In the 66th minute, junior Chris Paulino collected a bouncing ball and sent a bullet pass across to the feet of Bradley. On his second touch, Bradley ripped his shot to the corner to extend Loras' lead to three.
- Junior Eddie Gonzalez beat three defenders near the end line and found an unmarked Mark Histed on the six, but his shot sailed high over the bar.
- Elmhurst's best chance of the day came on a counter-attack and ended with Sam Johnson's shot that prompted a diving save from Peterson.

Kyler Olson I The midfielder came out in the second half and stole the show, tallying two goals in the matter of three minutes. Olson maintained a strong pace in the attacking third, which helped create scoring chances for the Duhawks.Â

With three matches left in the 2016 regular season, Loras hosts Coe on Wednesday evening. The Kohawks are on a seven-match losing streak after dropping a 1-0 contest to Concordia College on Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.
