SCOUTING THE RAMS
With their first year under their belt, the Rams will look to improve their young program in the MWLC. The Rams were picked to finish 9th in the preseason MWLC poll in their second year of competition. Sophomore Sydney Cooper will crusade the Ram's attack. Cooper netted 26 goals and 17 caused turnovers. Cooper will be joined by fellow sophomore Caitlyn St. Marie who won 29 draw controls in her freshman campaign.

SCOUTING THE FALCONS
Concordia is coming off of a 7-0 MWLC 2015 record and conference champions and are looking to repeat. Despire losing seven seniors, the program will use their depth chart to refuel their efforts heading into the 2016 season. Sophomore Allison Kurek will be a key player after seeing 62 goals, winning 103 draw controls and causing 57 turnovers.

LIMITING TURNOVERS
In their season-opener against Illinois Tech, the Duhawks committed 34 turnovers, with six directly resulting in goals for Illinois Tech. Fifteen of Loras' 34 turnovers were caused by Illinois Tech. Twenty of the team's 34 turnovers came in the first half. Moving forward, limiting these turnovers will be a focus as the team continues to improve and gel together.

STRONG SECOND HALF PERFORMANCE
After falling behind to Illinois Tech 6-1 in the first half, the Duhawks responded with a much stronger second half, showcasing the potential for the young squad. Loras totaled three second half goals but it was too little too late to complete the comeback.

DUAL SCORING THREATS
While many teams will focus their defensive efforts on stopping senior midfielder Kaitlyn Kutsch, sophomore Sarah Hanson's effectiveness on offense will need to come into play. Hanson scored 17 goals in her freshman campaign and added two assists. In Saturday's season opener, both Kutsch and Hanson added their names to the scoresheet, with Kutsch scoring in the first half and Hanson in the second.

DEFENSIVE DUO TO RETURN
A strong defensive duo for the Duhawks is returning this season. With Nia Stompanato appearing in all 16 games for the Duhawks last season and Hailey Fredrick appearing in all 16 games for each of her two season here, the back field was kept consistent in the 2015 season. Last season the pair totaled five goals, making their defense an offensive threat as well.

DEFENDING HER NET
Loras sophomore Ashley McGee started all 16 games for the Duhawks, making 133 saves and posting a .386 save percentage. Her save mark ranked fifth in the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference, with the leader checking in at 165 saves.
