LAST MEETING VERSUS AUGSBURG
The Duhawks' strong start faded when they fell to Augsburg in last season's meeting. A relatively balanced opening half, Augsburg opened an 8-5 lead at half. Loras came out in the second half, firing with back-to-back goals and cut the deficit to one. A 13-1 run from Augsburg closed out the game and the Duhawks fell to 22-9.

SERIES HISTORY: AUGSBURG    
Loras is searching for its first program win against Augsburg. The Auggies have claimed victory in both meetings entering Saturday's contest.

SCOUTING AUGSBURG
Augsburg has a chance at an MWLC Tournament appearance and are currently fourth in the conference standings. The Auggies (9-6, 4-3) have experienced an up and down season, entering the weekend 2–3 in their last five outings. Helena Nguyen leads Augsburg with 33 goals and nine assists. Marissa Guilou has anchored the defense with a .415 save percentage.

HOME COOKIN'
The Duhawks will conclude their 2016 campaign at home on the Rock Bowl which is where they have displayed some of their best performances this season. Loras is 3–3 at home and has scored double-digit goals in each of the three wins. Additionally, the Duhawks average 7.93 goals per game on the season, but average 11.67 in their three home victories.

HANSON FINDING OPPORTUNITIES
Sophomore Sarah Hanson has served as the holding piece for the Duhawk offense in the 2016 season. While Hanson is second on the team with 14 goals, the Hartland, Wis. native leads the team with 10 assists. This season, 13 different Duhawks have found twine including nine who have had multiple goals. In total, 111 Duhawk goals have been scored, with 35 coming off an assist.

STOMPANATO A DEFENSIVE STALWART
Sophomore Nia Stompanato has been one of the most consistent defensive stoppers for the Duhawks this season. Ranking third in groundballs (35) and caused turnovers (22), Stompanato has seen an improvement from he 2015 campaign where she tallied 26 ground balls. Her speed and agility has helped aid the defense in 2016.

NEW HEIGHTS FOR YOUNG PROGRAM
In its fourth season, Loras Women's Lacrosse reached a new program mark last Saturday against Beloit. The 11–10 win marked the fifth victory this season for the Purple & Gold, which enters the record book as the most wins in program history in a single season. From 2015 to 2016, the Duhawks have improved in their goal scoring, assists, ground balls and shot on goal percentage.

KUTSCH APPROACHING 200
Heading into the final contest of the season, senior Kaitlyn Kutsch finds herself four goals away from 200 for her career. With 59 on the season, Kutsch is tied for the MWLC lead with Kim Hughes of Aurora and ranks eighth in Division III. Additionally, her 1.53 Free Position Goals per Game ranks second in Division III.
