CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 defeat on Saturday afternoon to Coe. For the Kohawks, it was their 40th consecutive Iowa Conference regular season dual victory.
HIGHLIGHTS
- After defeating University of Dubuque prior to first serve against the Duhawks, Coe opened with wins at No. 1, 2, and 3 doubles.
- In singles, junior Ayla Graziano rallied in the second set at No. 5, but came up short, 6-1, 6-4.
- Junior Rachael Molidor pushed her match at No. 6 to extras, falling in straight sets, 6-3, 7-5.
UP NEXT
Loras continues conference play on Sunday in Storm Lake, taking on Buena Vista in the opener before facing Grand View to close the weekend.
