MADISON, Wis. (Duhawks.com) - Loras women's tennis completed its first weekend of the season on top, topping Alverno on Sunday afternoon, 6-3.

After dropping matches at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, Loras took care of business, staking claim to victory at 3-6 singles. Cooke added a second win to her day's total at No. 3 singles, winning in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. Craff followed suit, coming back from a 6-4 loss in set one to take set two, 6-1, and the tiebreaker, 10-7. Both Cooke and Craff are 3-0 this year in singles play.
