DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - In two hours' time, the Loras women's tennis team had earned win No. 8 of the season, besting Ripon in non-conference action, 9-0. In their first season inside the newly renovated Tucker Tennis Courts, the Duhawks conclude the fall portion of their schedule with a 7-1 record.

NOTABLES
-The tandem of junior Emma Cooke and freshman Bri Eighme ran their doubles record to 8-3, winning 8-0 at the No. 2 spot
-Cooke registered the 30th doubles win of her career on Saturday
-At No. 1 doubles, senior Ayla Graziano and freshman Audrey Hinz earned their first non-conference win together this fall, 8-1
-Freshman Meghann Long ran her winning streak to four with her win at No. 4 in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0
-In her first action at No. 1 singles, sophomore McKenna Craff picked up the win, 6-3, 6-3 ... The victory for Craff was the 20th of her career
-Freshman Francesca Roche and Maddie Smith collected wins at No. 2 and 3 singles, respectively ... Roche won 6-2, 6-1 and Smith was victorious 6-2, 6-0
