Duhawks Dropped by Kohawks

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's and women's swimming & diving teams suffered a pair of setbacks on Friday night in conference action, as the men fell to Coe by a score of 133-81 while the women fell 137-88.

NOTABLES
-Junior Mac Faldet swam a personal best in the 200 free to win with his time of 1:51.96
-Senior Ike Casey turned in a pair of wins int he 200 IM and 100 back with times of 2:09.43 and 56.44, respectively
-Junior Kaitlyn LaGrange added a second victory to her name this season in the 1,000 free with a time of 11:51.06, good for a season-best time
-Freshman Sarah Shafer won the 200 IM in 2:19.88 and the 100 fly in 1:02.71, both of which were her first collegiate races in those events
-Junior Mikaela Lengwin swept the dive competition, scoring 216.00 points in the 3m dive and 239.75 points in the 1m dive
-Junior Kim Breaux collected a win in the 500 free with her time of 5:44.20
-Loras' men won the 200 medley relay with their time of 1:38.81

UP NEXT
The Duhawks are back in the pool on Saturday as they host St. Ambrose and Midland in a triangular. Events are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. from inside San Jose Pool.
