-Loras grabbed its only lead of the day in the first quarter after senior
Mason Quigley's 37-yard field goal with 9:46 on the clock
-Midway through the second quarter, Loras' defense exploited a weakness in the Storm offensive line and recorded back-to-back-to-back sacks, forcing the Simpson quarterback, Sam Sasso from the game
-Sasso left the game in the second quarter and did not return … Prior to his departure, Sasso was 11-of-14 for 145 yards and had 22 rushing yards with a rushing touchdown
-Kelly orchestrated a 14-play, 82-yard drive late in the second quarter and completed 8-of-9 passes, finishing with a two-yard touchdown pass to senior

-Simpson's first drive of the second half stalled after seven plays and after getting the ball back, the Duhawks mounted a 17-play drive that took 6:46 off the clock, ending with Quigley's second field goal of the game
